We were laughing loudly,
I stopped to look at you,
But you didn’t notice,
I was afraid to say something out of the blue.
I love you, I said,
But too afraid,so there was only silence,
You stopped laughing and asked me what happened,
I wish I could tell you just once.
So I smiled and hid the pain,
And you started laughing again.
You had no clue what was happening inside,
Neither could you see my heart or feel.
The burden was starting to get heavy,
My palms from your laughing were going sweaty,
But your sweet laugh stopped me from breaking,
Even if my feelings for you might have been nothing.
